Top games that you can play on your Android with one hand

Smartphones are tiny gaming consoles in our hands, thanks to powerful SoCs that power these beasts. From action games to sports games, and arcade games to strategy games, you can always find your sauce on the Google Play Store. But, at the end of the day, smartphones are portable devices, and thus, they can’t be used the same way as PCs or other gaming consoles.

As we use smartphones in a variety of situations, and also in situations, when it is impossible to play some serious games, these are some games that can be played in all situations. One such category of games can be played with just one hand. Today, there’s very few phones that can be handled single-handedly, but I am here with some games today on InkedFreedom that can be played with one hand, no matter what the size of the screen.

So, without any further delay, let’s get started with the list of such games today on InkedFreedom.

Horizon

Perhaps it is one of the simplest games on the Google Play Store that can be played with one hand. The objective of the game is to glide an aircraft through some static and dynamic obstacles that come the way. Well, this game by Ketchapp will also test your reflexes.

The controls are easy, and you just need to swipe left and right across the screen to control the aircraft. Compare your scores with other players worldwide, and the background music too, is relaxing adding the much-needed fun to this exciting and addictive game.

Candy Crush Saga

Well, I know, this game is known to many, if not everybody. Candy Crush Saga has taken the genre of color matching game to a whole new level, and new features and levels are getting added with every single update. Candy Crush Saga is a game, where you basically need to align candies of the same color either horizontally or vertically to cancel them out.

There are additional targets that need to be fulfilled through color matching, with limited moves, and the game can be frustrating at times. This frustration eventually adds more fun to the game, and you can see people playing this game while commuting or at work breaks. Just try this game, and you will love it.

Missiles

If you are missing the much-needed action in your life, Missiles will add that. The objective of the game is to save your aircraft from the missiles that are on the way to bombard you. Just use the virtual joystick to glide your aircraft and eventually save it. Just like the other games in the list, there’s isn’t a storyline, and the end will eventually come.

The longer you can save your aircraft from the missile, the better your score will be. You can obviously collect shields and other powerups to defend your aircraft when there are multiple missiles on the way. Designed with Unity, Missiles is the perfect action arcade game for your Android.

Stack

One more game developed by Ketchapp is Stack that also offers simple yet tough gameplay. The objective of the game is to stack moving blocks above one another to create the tallest tower on the leaderboards. As you score higher, the blocks will move even faster making it more challenging to place the block in a regular fashion.

Even though this is not the only game on the Google Play Store to offer such an objective, the UI elements, easy control, background music, 3D yet smooth graphics make the gameplay even better to fall in love with.

One More Line

Another cool game that I often play while commuting, and even my personal favorite is One More Line. The objective of the game, like most other games here, is simple. You have to draw the line as long as possible avoiding the obstacles that come the way. Unlike most other games, you can’t move left or right directly to get around the obstacles, instead, you have to circle around to glide them.

The controls within the game are easier than you would imagine, however, it is equally hard to master. Scoring just a couple of hundreds will move you to the top of the leaderboard. This finger arcade game should definitely be on your smartphone if you love challenges, and want to spend your leisure time in a quality way.

Mario Kart Tour

This isn’t the original Mario Kart game available on Nintendo, but this game is equally fun to play when it comes to mobile devices. Unlike most other games on the list, this game can be played both in portrait, as well as in landscape mode. The kart can be controlled with just one hand in the portrait mode, and if you want to enjoy the game in landscape mode, there are additional control schemes.

Mario Kart Tour opens up the opportunity to participate in several limited-time events that are also fun to play. But if you do not care about all those, the regular racing events can be challenging to keep you occupied in the game for hours. If you are fond of kart racing games and looking for a simple kart racing game, you will love Mario Kart Tour.

Vertical Adventure

As the extended title of the game goes, jump, die and retry, that totally defines the gameplay. If you have played the Color Switch game and loved it, you will love this game too. You have to control a jumping dot, navigate it across several obstacles, and collect additional dots in between, which are checkpoints, to continue.

There are multiple chapters containing several levels, and with every level, the difficulty multiplies leaps and bounds. Even though Vertical Adventure can be played with just one hand, you will still need two hands as you start trying out the difficult levels. But with practice, you can beat em up all single-handedly. With a piece of exciting background music, you will fall in love with this game even more.

PAKO Forever

Here is a one-hand driving game, where the objective is to escape the police as long as you can. Escaping the police is not the only challenge, as you also have to carefully drive past obstacles, making the gameplay even difficult. There are several maps to try out, and you can unlock new vehicles to unlock your style.

This game, just like Mario Kart Tour can also be landscape view, which can be great for enjoying the game at home if you are really addicted to this game like I am. There are several achievements like most other games, cloud saving feature, and you can always have a look at your score on the leaderboards to find out how close you are, to the topper. You can also try out PAKO 2 that also offers similar gameplay with major modifications.

Well, those were some cool games that you can play on almost any device with just one hand in action. I kept away some common games like Subway Surfers or Temple Run, as most people already know about those games. All these games here are free-to-play, and hence developers too need to make money, and they do it by showing you ads. If you are annoyed and want to enjoy the games without any interruptions, you can do some in-app purchases, or simply turn off the internet while playing, which can be impractical for many users.
