Traveling by trains is something we do quite often, as Indian Railways offer comfortable rides across the country at pocket-friendly prices. Even though we can easily book tickets these days through several platforms, we can see our booking history on IRCTC, as we will still need an IRCTC account to book tickets, even on third-party platforms. 

If you travel often, you might need to see the recent booking history or the upcoming journeys. So, today on InkedFreedoom, I will talk about how to find booked tickets in IRCTC. I will discuss how to see booked ticket history in IRCTC, both on the app, website, and other popular platforms.

How to see booked ticket history in IRCTC app?

If you use the IRCTC mobile app to book your railway tickets, simply open the IRCTC Rail Connect app, log in with your credentials (IRCTC pin, and captcha), and tap on ‘My Transactions’.

Now, tap on ‘My Bookings’. 


Here, you can find, both upcoming and completed railway journeys, which are booked using your account. By default, you will land on the ‘Upcoming’ journeys page. However, you can also tap on ‘Completed’ to see the journeys that are already complete.



How to find booked tickets in IRCTC website?

If you use the IRCTC website, here’s how to find booked tickets in IRCTC website.

Simply open the IRCTC website using a web browser of your choice, and click on ‘Login’.

Log in with your username and password, along with the captcha, and click on ‘Sign in’.


Now, navigate your mouse pointer to ‘My Account’, then to ‘My Transactions’, and then finally click on ‘Booked Ticket History’.


Here, you can find all your journeys that include upcoming journeys, past journeys, and another tab, where you can find all the journeys.


So, that’s how to find booked tickets in IRCTC website.

How to find booked tickets in IRCTC through Amazon? 

If there are some troubles seeing the booking history on IRCTC due to server issues, or for some other reasons, you can also see IRCTC booking history on Amazon, if your tickets on IRCTC are booked using Amazon Pay.

Simply open the Amazon app, and tap on ‘Orders’, from the hamburger menu, as shown in the screenshot below.


Here, you can find all the recent orders that also include railway ticket bookings. If you can’t find your ticket in the recent orders menu, tap on ‘Filter’, and then choose the year in which the booking was made. If you don’t remember the year, try filtering, using different years.

After you tap on the specified year, tap on ‘Apply’.


After you find your booking, tap on it.


Now, you can find the booking history that basically shows the source and destination stations, passenger details, ticket status, and much more.

Just in case you need the E-ticket for reimbursement or other purposes, tap on ‘Resend e-ticket



Here, enter your email address and mobile number, and tap on ‘Send ticket’ to see the E-ticket sent to your email address.

How to find booked tickets in IRCTC using MakeMyTrip?

If you use MakeMyTrip to book tickets on IRCTC, you can find those booked tickets using the MakeMyTrip app.

Simply open the app, log in with your credentials, and tap on ‘My Trips’.


Here you can find all the railway tickets booked using MakeMyTrip on IRCTC.


Simply tap on a preferred trip to see further details.

How to find booked tickets in IRCTC with Paytm?

If you book IRCTC railway tickets using the Paytm super app, here’s how to find booked tickets in IRCTC through Paytm.

Simply open the Paytm app, tap on the hamburger icon, and then tap on ‘Orders & Bookings’.


All your orders will be displayed here, and the recent orders will be displayed at the top. To narrow down the results, tap on ‘Travel’.



Here, all the travel bookings will be displayed.


Simply tap on one of the entries to see its details.


So, that’s how to find booked tickets in IRCTC with Paytm super app. Except for MakeMyTrip, it is also possible to download the completed journeys, which is really useful if you need the e-ticket for some reason. But, if there's an upcoming booking, you can download the ticket on all the apps including MakeMyTrip.
