However, you can also do that with any Android device having NFC, and you can learn how to do that, here. If you are a Samsung user and change credit cards frequently, you have to add multiple cards to Samsung Pay from time to time.

As time passes by, the old cards are no longer used, and it is better to remove such cards from Samsung Pay to avoid NFC-based frauds, which, however, is not so easy to carry out these days, and for a number of other reasons. Deleting a card from Samsung Pay is not as easy and straightforward as adding a card is, and thus, if you are wondering, how to remove cards from Samsung Pay, I am here with a short tutorial on InkedFreedom, on how to do that.

So, now let’s dive into how you can remove your old credit cards from Samsung Pay, and keep the user interface clutter-free. Oh! This also applies to debit cards.

Steps to delete a card from Samsung Pay

Here, tap on the ‘Home’ button. Don’t try to authenticate, as that will again put Samsung Pay to payment mode.

Now tap on the ‘
Credit/Debit cards’ options.

Here, a list of cards added to Samsung Pay will be displayed to you. Tap on the card that you want to delete.

The card details will be masked, and you have to tap on the triple-dot menu on the top right corner of the UI to tap on ‘Delete card’.

Just confirm the process by tapping on the ‘Delete’ button, and finally, confirm the process by authenticating yourself, by any supported method.

Optionally, you can also tap on the ‘Remove from Pay tab’ option. That way, the specific card will not appear at the time of choosing the payment method, reducing confusion, and you can choose the payment method quickly. This method is only recommended if you are in a dilemma regarding removing the card from Samsung Pay permanently.

Different cards offer a variety of rewards, and it makes enough sense to add multiple cards to Samsung Pay to get both points and enjoy the convenience of contactless payments.
