So, without any further delay, let’s get started with how to clear cache in Android, or clear Android storage with Assistant for Android, a free and lightweight app.

How to delete images, videos, or other big files to clear Android storage?

It isn’t always the app cache that consumes important space on your Android. Images, videos, or big files that you download from the internet, and forget to delete can also add to the trouble. With Assistant for Android, you can also clear images, videos, big files, and apps, all from one place.

It becomes really hard to delete images or videos received through WhatsApp, and those images and videos from WhatsApp occupy a chunk of memory that can be used to store something really important. Thanks to Assistant for Android as you can use it to delete images, videos or other big files

However, to do that, you have to allow Assistant for Android to access storage. Tap on ‘Clear Image’, ‘Clear Video’, or ‘Clear Big File’.

You will instantly get the option to permit storage access to Assistant for Android. Just allow storage access to proceed further.

After allowing storage access, you can select the videos, images, or big files to delete them, and clear Android storage. Assistant for Android will display the image and video thumbnails to make it easier for you to select and delete unnecessary items. In the beginning, the app will take some time to scan the contents within the internal memory and display it.

You can also tap on ‘Clear Junk’ to select special elements on your device like app files, thumbnail cache, audio files, or downloaded files, and delete them.

Using Batch Uninstall to clear Android storage

There are several apps that you download, however, you end up not using them. If there are several apps that you want to delete in batch, here’s how you can delete multiple apps in batch from the Google Play Store. But you can also do that using Assistant for Android.

Simply tap on ‘Batch Uninstall’.

Now, select the apps that you want to uninstall, and tap on ‘Uninstall’.

That way, you can uninstall multiple apps at once using Assistant for Android.

Besides the ability to clear Android storage, Assistant for Android has additional abilities too. If you have multiple APK files that you want to install in a batch, you can use ‘Batch Install’. This can be really handy, if you recently bought a new smartphone, you have all the APK files, or you have factory reset your phone, and now you want to install all the previous apps.

There is a file manager; a module to remove apps to the SD card if there’s one; a startup manager, and many more. With the startup manager, you can stop apps from starting up after they are cleared from the recent tasks. That way, your Android can run faster, however, I will not recommend using that unless you really need to prevent certain apps from starting up.

Among other things that you can do, you can kill processes, which is in no way recommended, unless you are troubleshooting, toggling Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.

Assistant for Android is not only great to clear Android storage, but it is a swiss-knife to manage your Android effortlessly from one place. By consuming just 20 MB on your Android, it can do a lot to manage your Android effortlessly.
