One great feature of Microsoft Edge is the ability to edit PDF documents to do minor yet useful changes to a document. That said, today I will basically talk about how to edit a PDF document in Microsoft Edge. This will open the document with Microsoft Edge.

Now, you will get a top panel where you can find all the options to edit the PDF document.

Rotating a PDF document

You can use the rotate button or the rotate shortcut key i.e. ‘Ctrl + [’ to rotate the document counter-clockwise, and ‘Ctrl + ]’ to rotate a PDF document clockwise. Additionally, you can also use the rotate button, as shown in the screenshot below.

Drawing on a PDF document

No matter whether a PDF document is composed of text or images, you can always draw on a PDF document, for several reasons, say annotating an important part of the document. To get started click on the small drop-down icon just beside the ‘Draw’ icon.

Here, you can select a color from the 30 different shades available. You can also use the slider to set the thickness of the pencil. Now simply draw anywhere on the PDF document.

You can simply click on the ‘Draw’ button if you want to draw anywhere on the document without making any changes in the color or the pencil thickness.

If there’s something important in a PDF document that you want to highlight, you can highlight it using the ‘Highlight’ option.

However, you can enable ‘Text only highlight’ to limit the highlighter to just highlight text elements, as shown in the screenshot above.
