Once you are downloading Seal, let’s now look into how to download video files from the internet.

How to download videos from the internet using Seal?

Now that you have downloaded Seal, copy the webpage link where the streaming video exists, to Seal.

Now tap on the download icon. Just refer to the screenshot below for your reference.


Now, before Seal can actually start downloading the file, you have to configure the download.

Start with some general settings. The first thing that you can configure is, whether you want to extract the audio from the video file, download a playlist if the link refers to a playlist, embedded subtitles, or the video thumbnail.

In the next step, you can select the video format and video quality. Just use the drop-down menus in the respective options to select the quality and format. Once you are done, tap on ‘Download’.


As this is an open-source app, you can also execute custom commands, which I will not discuss here.

Now, wait for the download to complete, before you start downloading a new file again.



How to download Instagram Reels with no watermark?

How to find out downloaded videos in the file manager?

After the downloads are complete, simply tap on the following icon as shown in the screenshot below, to see the list of downloaded videos.

Well, now that you know how to download video files from the internet, you shouldn’t make it a habit as streaming videos is never supposed to be downloaded, whatever the reasons may be. Downloading YouTube videos, and Instagram Reels go against the usage policies, and thus you should be careful.

While Seal is a great app to download video files from the internet pretty effortlessly, there are certain problems too. Firstly, there is no option, or at least not easy to stop video downloads that are currently in progress. Next, it isn’t a universal solution to download video files from the internet. Perhaps, the app will be improved with subsequent updates in the future. Still, the app is totally ad-free, and with a great and simple-to-use interface, Seal is undoubtedly a great app to download video files on your Android.
